Because Las Vegas is an iconic city for entertainment, it is one of the great places to search when you want to see your favorite recording artists live.

Vegas has more than 100 casinos as well as a plethora of bars, arenas and auditoriums, which make it one stop that many musicians establish as a spot for upcoming tour dates.

No Doubt reunites for a 2009 tour with original members Gwen Stefani, Tom Dumont, Adrian Young and Tony Kanal.

The indie pop rockers will perform for the "Tiger Jam XII" show in Vegas on May 16 at the Mandalay Bay. This is a specific show to benefit the Tiger Woods foundation, which assists young people in achieving their dreams by providing scholarships, character development programs, grants and junior golf teams.

It has been almost five years since No Doubt has toured together and, according to the band's official Web site, www.nodoubt.com, the quartet is going to record another album together.

Platinum entertainer Beyonce has the Wynn Las Vegas' Encore theater booked from July 30 to Aug. 2 to promote her most recent album, "I am…Sasha Fierce." She will play four shows in Vegas, but unlike many of her other U.S. tour dates where the price for tickets are an economically friendly $20, the Vegas shows prices have not yet been made available.

Janelli Toledo, a freshman biology major from St. George, said she would like to see No Doubt or Beyonce live, but she said ticket prices are usually too high for top entertainers.

Toledo usually travels to Vegas with friends to see a live performance but said indoor venues are too crowded

"Outdoor shows leave more room to breathe," Toledo said.

Country music seems to have found a home in Vegas also, as country entertainers Keith Urban will perform at the Mandalay Bay on July 18, and Sugarland will be at the Star of the Desert Arena on July 24. Country superstars Big and Rich kick up their heels at the Star of the Deserts arena as well on June 20. These shows are not for the monetarily inflicted though, as ticket prices average about $100.
