A: "The greatest thing is that I get to work around really creative people who enjoy what they do, so they work really hard at it. It's just fun to work with people who have that much dedication."

Q: What is your background in theater?

A: "I've directed probably 30 or 40 plays. I've done a whole bunch of acting on stage as well as film work. I've done a little playwriting."

Brent Hanson, associate dean of fine arts, has both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in design from the University of Utah. He also has a PhD in theater and film from BYU.

Q: What is your background in theater?

A: "I quit counting about ten years ago, but I've been involved in hundred of [plays]. This will be my 28th year at Dixie."

Brent Innes, associate professor of theater technology and technical director, has an MFA in technical direction and theatrical lighting from Utah State University. He's had more than ten years of professional experience. This is his third year at DSC.
