I believe the more you put into something, the more you will get out of it. The more time you spend pouring over textbooks in the library, the more you will understand the material. The more shifts you take on at work, the more money will fill your bank account.

Human beings need each other. We each have unique abilities and talents to offer those who may benefit from our strengths. Some simply have a giving heart tuned to those in need. Veronica packs up any of her unneeded clothes and gives them to friends who may want them. Chris picks up the check anytime he goes out to eat with his buddies. Mike forms a plan for the distressed friend having car problems.

I am convinced the thoughtful hearts who are willing to take time to lend another a listening ear when it's needed will receive tenfold in return. Maybe they'll find themselves a little extra free time when studying is over or maybe it's less time spent at a traffic light. He who is willing to expend himself for the profit of another will find his reward. When someone seeks to lighten the load of another, the universe rushes in to ensure his own needs are met.

Let's make everyone feel important. Let's help each other with the talents and abilities we are blessed with. You never know the extent you could be helping someone when you serve.
