Men's basketball to face play for conference title against HPU

Every Red Storm player on the roster scored Thursday night except for one against the University of Hawaii-Hilo as the Storm cruised to an 80-48 win.
Junior forward Tom Whitehead led the scoring with two big 3-pointers in the second half as he scored 12 points overall. The win secured at least second place in the Pacific West Conference for Dixie State College. The Red Storm can clinch a share of the conference championship with a win against Hawaii Pacific University on Saturday at 3 p.m. A win on Saturday for the Red Storm and an HPU win against Brigham Young University-Hawaii on Monday will give DSC the outright PacWest championship and automatic entry in to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
